Welcome to the First Baptist School (FBS) website! 

 

I hope you enjoy visiting our site, and I invite you to visit our school campus to learn more about us.  FBS is a K3-12 independent school in downtown Charleston and is best known for three things:  our nurturing, Christian environment; our affordable rates; and our highly successful students.

 

Our students’ successes speak for themselves: every FBS student goes to college.  Many graduates attend prestigious universities with academic, fine arts, and athletic scholarships.  FBS students are prepared to be successful in a changing and complex world.

 

Our graduates are easy to recognize: they are smart, well-mannered, respectful of their teachers, appreciative of their family, and active in extra-curricular pursuits.  They eagerly contribute to their community and exude confidence.  They are successful in whatever they put their minds to.  They have formed strong friendships with a positive peer group.  They tell their parents that they were happy at FBS, and they come back to share their successes with us.
