Tuition Discount for Active Members of First Baptist Church
Active members of First Baptist Church receive a 10% discount on the regular one child and two or more children tuition rates.

Payment Plans:  Annual, bi-annual, quarterly and monthly tuition payment plans are available.

Fees for Elective Course Work and Extracurricular Activities
A student electing to enroll in an elective course or extracurricular activity at First Baptist may be charged a fee for supplies required for that activity.

Dual Credit Courses:  A student may elect to enroll in a dual credit course, where they receive high school and college credit for designated courses.  The student is responsible for the cost of reduced tuition and books as required by Trident Technical College.  The fee will be billed by Trident Technical College and paid directly to them by the student.  Information will be given to student upon enrollment in the course. 

Driver's Education:  $325.00

Sports Fee:  This fee is used to cover athletic facitly expenses.  Other fees may be charged for individual sports as directed by the athletic department.

Junior Varsity and Varsity Sports $125.00
B-Team Sports   $  50.00

Extended Day Program:  Offered  weekly or by the day at an additional cost.  The extended day program is available from the end of school until 5:30 PM five days a week.  It is not available during school holidays.

Fine Art Programs:  Fine art programs, such as individual music lessons, dance lessons, and drama programs are offered during and after school at an additional cost.  These fees are set in the spring and will be sent out with the applications for these programs prior to the beginning of the next school year.

Transportation Fees

West Ashley to Dupont Road and Hwy. 17 South              $1,100.00 annually

West Ashley beyond Orange Grove Road to Shadowmoss  $1,200.00 annually

James Island                                                                 $1,100.00 annually

East of the Cooper                                                         $1,200.00 annually

Other Areas:  Beyond limits outlined above, transportation fees must be arranged, depending on the number of students and distance involved.

Sibling bus riders receive a $100 discount per year on transportation fee.  The third child in a family rides at no cost.

One way transportation is available at 60% of the round trip fee.

At least twenty (20) students are required to financially support a specific bus route.  If the minimum number of students is not met, the fees may be adjusted to accommodate the students who desire transportation.  In the even a route must be cancelled due to low numbers, those parents will be notified prior to August 1, 2012 and be provided a list of students in their area to facilitate car pooling. 

Transportation fees are subject to change during  the year with an increase in the cost of gas and oil.
