“SEND ME” 

“I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ Then I said, ‘Here I am; SEND ME’.” - Isaiah 6:8 

The motto of the Hurricane Football Program, “Send Me” refers to a passage in the Old Testament book of Isaiah. The prophet Isaiah has just  had a vision: he has seen the face of God.  God is looking for someone willing to go forth into the world with His message.  A difficult task,  indeed.  Isaiah readily accepts.  He answers God with a resounding “SEND ME!”

Going forward for God or any great cause is difficult.  To do so requires commitment, sacrifice, and passion.  Our football program will be built upon young people who demonstrate these qualities while representing First Baptist Church School and the Hurricane Football Program. 

The world needs more people who are willing to do the right thing, the right way, at the right time.  God needs you.  Your family needs you.  Your teammates need you.  Are you prepared to stand proudly and shout… 

“Here I am! SEND ME!”
