Dear FBS Community:
As the threat of inclement weather increases for tomorrow, weather models are reporting conflicting data. As a result of this uncertainty, we will err on the side of caution due to the far reach of our First Baptist School Community. First Baptist School will be closed tomorrow, Friday, January 21st. The school closure will include all athletic and extracurricular activities on Friday. Be on the lookout for communication regarding weekend events and athletic activities. We have a number of families, faculty, and staff who travel significant distances to reach our campuses. Additionally, we must also consider the impacts of inclement weather on the route bus that transports our students home in the afternoon. Due to the potential of power and internet interruptions, we will not transition to a virtual option. School will resume Monday, January 24th, which will be a B-day for middle and high school students.
