Ways to Give

The exceptional reputation of First Baptist School is owed to the unwavering support from our community - parents, grandparents, alumni, past parents, faculty, staff, and friends. We are grateful for the numerous opportunities available to bolster the First Baptist experience. Every contribution, regardless of its size, carries significance and serves as an annual endorsement of our values and aspirations. Together, we can continue to shape the future of First Baptist School!

Ways to Give

Thank you for your support of First Baptist School of Charleston.  Your contribution makes it possible for us to continue serving our students, school families, and community.

Your gift is an investment in the future of our children for generations. Your investment may be made as either a one-time gift, an annual gift, or a monthly gift.

Giving is available online, by mail, through gifts of stock, or by company matching.

To make a gift of stock, please contact the business office for instructions.

Double the value of your gift to First Baptist School! Check to see if your company participates in matching gifts.

Matching Gifts

Did you know that many companies have matching gift programs that will match your
donation to the First Baptist School? Hundreds of companies—large and small—have
programs like this. Some companies will even match gifts made by retirees and spouses
of employees.

Does your company match gifts?

Check out this list of companies that offer matching gift programs. This is not a complete
list so if your company is not included, check with your HR department. If your
company offers a matching gift, follow these easy steps to double the impact of your
donation:

  1. Ask HR for a copy of the Matching Gift Form and complete your portion.

  2. Submit the form to us:

    1. By e-mail: crookj@fbschool.org

    2. Or mail: First Baptist School, 48 Meeting St, Charleston, SC 29401

  3. Make your donation, and see it double!

For more information, please contact Jimmy Crook at crookj@fbschool.org or 843-722-
6646.

In addition to making a greater impact for our community, your matching gift donation
includes other benefits:

For employees: Your gift will make a greater impact and you will be acknowledged at the
recognition level that includes your employer’s match. For example, if you make a donation of $500 to FBS and your employer’s matching gift brings the total contribution to $1,000, you will be recognized at the $1,000 level.

For employers: Donations received from employers through matching gift programs are often tax-deductible. Corporate giving programs can help attract and retain employees by boosting engagement and goodwill.

Companies That Match Your Gift Include:

Bank of America, Boeing, Costco, ExxonMobil, Geico, Google, Merck, Novus International, Starbucks, University Medical Associates, Verizon ...and more!
