At First Baptist School of Charleston, our auxiliary programs are designed to provide a seamless extension of the school day, offering enriching experiences for students. Our programs provide supplementary resources and support that enrich the student experience and promote well-being. Auxiliary Programs
At First Baptist School of Charleston, our auxiliary programs are thoughtfully designed to provide a seamless extension of the school day, offering enriching experiences that engage and inspire students beyond the classroom. These programs are crafted to provide supplementary resources and support that not only enrich the student experience but also promote overall well-being.
Whether it's through creative arts, sports, or academic enhancement, our services are tailored to complement the core academic curriculum, ensuring a comprehensive educational journey. We strive to meet the diverse development needs of our students, fostering an environment where they can explore their interests, build new skills, and grow holistically. Our goal is to nurture well-rounded individuals prepared to succeed in all aspects of life.
Extended Day Program
To assist working parents, First Baptist School offers an Extension Program to Lower School and Middle School families. Children who enroll in the Extension Program will engage in free play, games, special pop-ups (such as Charlie the Riverdog!) and homework time.
The Extension Program operates Monday through Friday, beginning the first full day of school and continuing through the last day of school (provided sufficient enrollment is maintained). The hours are from the end of the school day until 5:30 p.m. There will be a late fee of $1 per minute beginning at 5:31 p.m. There will be no Extension Program during school holidays.

Downtown Extended Day: Extended Day at our Downtown campus is available for students in grades K2 through 6th.
James Island Extended Day: On our James Island campus, Extended Day is available for students in grades 7th and 8th, as well as siblings in grades 4th through 6th of current middle and high school students. Students in grades 4th through 8th who participate in late athletic practices are also welcome to join.
After School Enrichments
After school enrichments are available to K4-6th grade students.
Offerings vary each semester and by grade. View our current semester offerings below!
Aftercare is available for students that need to stay beyond the club end time until 5:30 pm. Please be sure to add extended care to your registration if your student will be staying.

Holiday Break Camps
Our Holiday Camps provide a fun learning environment when school is out-of-session. We offer a variety of programs during holiday breaks for currently enrolled First Baptist School students.
