Auxiliary Programs
At First Baptist School of Charleston, our auxiliary programs are thoughtfully designed to provide a seamless extension of the school day, offering enriching experiences that engage and inspire students beyond the classroom. These programs are crafted to provide supplementary resources and support that not only enrich the student experience but also promote overall well-being.
Whether it's through creative arts, sports, or academic enhancement, our services are tailored to complement the core academic curriculum, ensuring a comprehensive educational journey. We strive to meet the diverse development needs of our students, fostering an environment where they can explore their interests, build new skills, and grow holistically. Our goal is to nurture well-rounded individuals prepared to succeed in all aspects of life.
Extended Day Program
To assist working parents, First Baptist School offers an Extension Program to Lower School and Middle School families. Children who enroll in the Extension Program will engage in free play, games, special pop-ups (such as Charlie the Riverdog!) and homework time. The Extension Program is housed on our Downtown Campus.
The Extension Program operates Monday through Friday, beginning the first full day of school and continuing through the last day of school (provided sufficient enrollment is maintained). The hours are from the end of the school day until 5:30 p.m. There will be a late fee of $1 per minute beginning at 5:31 p.m. There will be no Extension Program during school holidays.
For more information about the K2-8th grade Extended Day Program, please contact auxiliaryprograms@fbschool.org.
