FAITH. FAMILY. FUTURE.

FAITH. FAMILY. FUTURE. is a three-year, $3 million dollar campaign focused on preparing for the future of First Baptist School.

Faith:  Excel in our primary mission of providing a biblical, Christ-centered education for our students.

First Baptist School integrates the Christian faith with academics, preparing students both for a life of faith and academic success. Funds from the capital campaign enable the school to provide students with the opportunity to participate in hands-on mission projects, volunteer in our local community, and develop a Christian worldview through chapel, Bible classes, and faith-based curriculum.

Family: Maintain an edifying, family environment where are students are loved and nurtured.

First Baptist School has offered an exceptional education in a family-oriented environment since 1949. Our talented and attentive faculty inspires and encourages each student’s development in mind, body, and spirit. In keeping with this tradition of excellence, we are dedicated to increasing our scholarships for families and reconnecting with our Alumni to build lasting relationships.

Future: Prepare for the future needs of our students and families for generations to come.
Our historic campus has long been in need of revitalization and its buildings are in need of major repair. To accommodate the needs of our flourishing school, we have completed our state-of the-art high school on the James Island campus, which also boasts a new gym and athletic fields. In addition, the upstairs of the existing multipurpose building was updated to include a media center, contemporary art loft, dance studio, music room, health and counseling office, and fitness center. We will begin the Phase II renovation of the lower school building downtown, which will enable us to provide modern facilities and technology for our younger students.

We hope that you will join us in making our vision a reality!

PHASE II: RENOVATION OF PRESCHOOL AND LOWER SCHOOL ON DOWNTOWN CAMPUS. CONSTRUCTION TO BEGIN 2019.

Phase II will provide the following improvements to the downtown campus:

  • Spacious, new classrooms equipped with the latest technology

  • First floor preschool classrooms

  • Ample Parking
